Open Home Living exists to provide more than somewhere to stay. We provide supported accommodation for adults who need a safe and suitable home alongside practical support to help them build greater stability and independence.
OUR PURPOSE
Good accommodation, combined with the right support.
Our purpose is to combine good-quality, managed accommodation with meaningful housing-related support. A stable home can create the space someone needs to focus on everyday responsibilities, financial stability, health and wellbeing, engagement with services, opportunities for work or training and future housing.
Housing alone cannot solve every difficulty. But the right environment, combined with appropriate support and personal responsibility, can provide a strong foundation for progress. Our role is to create an environment in which residents can address the circumstances that brought them into supported accommodation while developing the skills, confidence and responsibility needed for what comes next.
Who we support
Our service is designed for adults aged 18 and over who have a housing need and require an appropriate level of housing-related support. Every person’s circumstances are considered individually — we only offer accommodation where we believe the placement is suitable.
- Homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Experiencing mental health difficulties
- In recovery from substance misuse
- Leaving prison or involved with probation
- Moving on from other supported or temporary accommodation
- Circumstances that make independent housing difficult to sustain

We are committed to providing our services fairly and without unlawful discrimination. We recognise that people may require different approaches or reasonable adjustments to access our service effectively. Harassment, victimisation and discriminatory behaviour are not acceptable within Open Home Living accommodation.
